Chris Carter has a strong track record of success in direct marketing. Chris has rapidly grown a flat direct marketing program at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and boosted the number of donors by 50% at Mount Sinai Hospital. Chris is a fundraising innovator having launched Canada’s first long-form DRTV program for a land conservation charity and the first monthly door-to-door and street fundraising programs for an animal welfare organization, in fact one of the first for any charity in Canada. Specifically at the Nature Conservancy of Canada following a heavy research period we identified the best way to build awareness of the brand, and boost the donor base through direct response. The decision was made to launch Direct Response Television; this crucially advertised the brand to large segments of the population but also with a clear call to action quickly built the monthly giving file. Subsequently other channels including email, direct mail, the newsletter, and the web were integrated and boosted as part of the approach. At NCC within 5 years he doubled the donor file and saw revenues increase by multiple factors.

With a background in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Tino has developed effective technical solutions for commercial companies such as Interface Inc., the world’s largest modular carpet manufacturer, as well as non-profit organizations such as Chabad Intown of Atlanta.

Tino’s expertise in Excel, Database Structure, and a range of programming languages allows him to extract, transform, and analyze data with efficiency and accuracy, providing clients with sharp insights regarding their database and fundraising trends.

Tino joined Chris Carter Marketing in 2017, and strives to make client databases clean and lean.

Kyla began her career in administration, bringing to bear a strong focus on organization and planning. In five years in mid-range fundraising at the nation’s leading land conservation charity, she grew the program significantly with a focus on donor stewardship, cultivation and direct mail.  With Chris Carter Marketing, Kyla has worked with clients on direct marketing, integrated campaigns, and data management.

Farrah brings over a decade worth of experience to her role as strategist and Account Director at Chris Carter Marketing — providing turn-key, full-service fundraising and marketing solutions for non-profits.

Her passion for technology and storytelling developed during her time in training and development at Electronic Arts, the world’s premiere developer and publisher of interactive entertainment.

She then transitioned into her role as the Manager of Fundraising Events at the BC SPCA, leading a portfolio that included the management of integrated marketing campaigns and strategy for peer to peer events, response campaigns and DIY fundraising. A key achievement was the creation and launch of National Cupcake Day for SPCAs and Humane Societies – a national event with a unique management structure involving over 40 different animal welfare charities across Canada.

Farrah then lead the fundraising consulting team with hjc (Hewitt & Johnston Consultants), specialising in interactive and integrated fundraising. Her clients included The Heart and Stroke Foundation, CAMH Foundation and Women’s College Hospital Foundation.

A true generalist with her finger on the pulse of technology, Farrah thrives on providing smart, integrated marketing solutions that resonate with mission to achieve nonprofits’ fundraising, awareness and advocacy goals.

She has been cooking up creating solutions for clients with Chris Carter Marketing since 2016.
